PGW Offices Will Close in Observance of Christmas

PHILADELPHIA (December 23, 2024) – Philadelphia Gas Works’ (PGW) offices will close at noon on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 and remain closed Wednesday, December 25, 2024 in observance of Christmas. PGW’s 24-hour Emergency Hotline (215-235-1212) will remain open only for odor calls and gas-related emergencies.

PGW offices will resume regular business hours on Thursday, December 26, 2024.

Customers who need to access account information or pay their bill online can log into their PGW My Account, pay by phone at 215-235-1000, or make cash payments in person at hundreds of local retailers, including Walmart, CVS, Dollar General, Family Dollar, 7-Eleven, Speedway, Rite Aid, and Walgreens. Additionally, customers can now manage their My Account from the PGW mobile app. The one-stop app is a convenient way to manage your account, monitor usage, make payments, and more! PHILADELPHIA (December 10, 2024) – Philadelphia Gas Works’ (PGW) Customer Call Center will close at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 11, 2024, excluding the emergency line. PGW’s 24-hour Emergency Hotline (215-235-1212) will only remain open for odor calls and gas-related emergencies.

PGW’S Customer Call Center will resume regular business hours on Thursday, December 12, 2024.

PHILADELPHIA (November 26, 2024) – Philadelphia Gas Works’ (PGW) offices will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving Day on Thursday, November 28, 2024. PGW’s 24-hour Emergency Hotline (215-235-1212) will only remain open for odor calls and gas-related emergencies.

PGW offices will resume regular business hours on Friday, November 29, 2024.

When cooking food, remain in the kitchen to monitor food on the stove and in the oven.
Keep knives and sharp objects far out of reach from children and pets.
Make sure smoke alarms on every floor are working. Test them by hitting the test button or follow the products’ instructions.
Blow out any lit candles before leaving a room or the home.
Maintain a clean floor so no one trips over bags, toys, or electronics.
Do not drink and drive.
