Text messaging … it’s fast, convenient and the newest way to start your LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program) application. Text WARM to 95997.
LIHEAP grants of up to $1,000 are first-come, first-served, so the sooner you submit an application the better. You can take that first step right now. Text WARM to 95997.
And, if you need additional service, our text message system will help with that too.
Of course, texting isn’t for everyone. Here is a list of other ways to apply for LIHEAP this season:
- Visit your nearest PGW Customer Service Center
- Call (215) 787-HEAT (4328) to have an application mailed
- Print an application directly from our website.
- Apply online at www.compass.state.pa.us
To apply a LIHEAP grant to your PGW bill:
- Write PGW and your PGW account number in Section 4 of the LIHEAP application
- Check Natural Gas in Section 6
Include proof of your household income
Remember, grants are limited. We encourage customers to apply now.
