There’s No Place Like Home

8,000 (and counting). The number of people in Philadelphia (to date) who have been given a place to call home, thanks to Project HOME.**
55. That’s the number of new supportive, permanent residences for the homeless at Project HOME’s newly constructed JBJ Soul Homes building.
$61,260. That’s the check amount PGW presented to Project HOME in June for energy efficient upgrades at its JBJ Soul Homes building. The apartment offers energy-efficient natural gas furnaces and hot water heaters, as well as low-flow faucet aerators and shower heads that help to provide residents a basic need – and comfort – that may have been otherwise unobtainable.
700. The number of people in attendance as Project HOME received the grant check at its ‘Taste of HOME’ street fair – an event in appreciation of the efforts of residents, staff and volunteers.
