Temperatures Dropping? You Got This.
Posted on: Nov 20, 2014As temperatures plummet and you reach for that heavy sweater, one word comes to mind … weatherization! (You were thinking of that other W word, weren’t you? We don’t use that word around here).
The concept of weatherizing your home may seem daunting , but it’s not as taxing as it seems. Here are a few suggestions to get you started:
• Use caulk or weather stripping to seal off drafty doors and windows.
• Considering taping clear plastic film to the inside of window frames to fight drafts Keep your flue cover closed.
• Install storm windows and doors to guarantee there will be no cold wind sneaking through your doorway.
