PGW OFFICES WILL CLOSE ON MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. DAY OF SERVICE
Posted on: Jan 13, 2022PHILADELPHIA (January 13, 2022) – Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW) offices will be closed in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service on Monday, January 17, 2022. PGW’s 24-hour Emergency Hotline will remain open for emergency calls. All gas leaks or gas-related emergencies should be immediately reported by calling 215-235-1212.
PGW offices will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, January 18, 2022.
On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, PGW encourages our employees and the greater community to observe a “day on” instead of a “day off” to serve the community and celebrate and honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. To locate a service opportunity in Philadelphia, please visit mlkdayofservice.org/.
