PGW Breaks Ground on New North Operations Center
Posted on: Dec 02, 2021On Wednesday, November 17, 2021, Philadelphia Gas Works broke ground on its North Operations Center which will feature energy-efficient technology and state-of-the-art training facilities to enhance service for PGW’s residential and business customers.
The building, located in the Summerdale section of Northeast Philadelphia at 5000 Summerdale Avenue, is scheduled to be complete in spring 2023 and house 40 percent of PGW employees.
PGW management, Philadelphia elected officials, and members of NorthPoint Development (which is overseeing construction) commemorated the start of the project at the groundbreaking ceremony:
