With warmer weather here, it is a good time to repair your home. Home and energy improvements help boost value, lower energy bills, and save money. Help is on the way to make the repairs affordable.
Repairs can be made with help from a Mini-PHIL or PHIL-Plus loan.
Even if your credit is less than perfect, you may qualify for a Mini-PHIL loan up to $10,000 or a PHIL-Plus loan up to $25,000. The Urban Affairs Coalition works with the City of Philadelphia and community lenders to offer these loans to eligible borrowers looking to make home improvements or pay off existing debt.
You won’t be alone: Neighborhood counselors are available to provide free assistance to help you apply for your loan.
