You read that right. Two dollars and fifty nine cents.
Earlier this month, VNG.CO opened Philadelphia’s first public Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) pumping station. And, we drove our fleet of Natural Gas Vehicles (NGV) over to fuel up ….for $2.59 per gallon!
VNG.CO – a Pennsylvania-based company – is making Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) fueling practical, accessible and convenient for light-duty vehicles across the U.S. and in our region.
Natural gas is cheaper ($1.50 to $2 less per gasoline gallon equivalent); natural gas is greener (reducing emissions of the most harmful pollutants by more than 90%); and natural gas is a domestic, abundant fuel source. Now, with 12 local CNG stations (including Philly’s newest pump), fueling up with cheaper, greener, abundant natural gas is easier than ever.
VNG.CO is installing public-access CNG pumps at existing gas stations throughout Pennsylvania and has plans to expand into other major metro markets across the U.S.
