DYK: PGW Is A Zero Waste Partner
Posted on: Aug 19, 2020Philadelphia Gas Works’ corporate campus became a Zero Waste Partner with the City of Philadelphia in 2020. With this partnership, we are collaborating with the City to promote zero waste practices at PGW and that help foster a greener Philadelphia.
As part of this program, PGW submits monthly reports detailing the amount of waste we divert from landfills and offering solutions on how we can improve zero waste practices in the future.
The Zero Waste Partnership Program is a way for Philadelphia to collaborate with local businesses and organizations on achieving Zero Waste in Philadelphia. The program encourages knowledge sharing between the City and Zero Waste Partners to share their best practices and influence future goals.
